Good to know

Questions & answers

What's the dress code?

Please come dressed looking your best - suits and dresses. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white, ivory or cream as that's saved for the bride!

The weather in March can be unpredictable so please make sure to bring a warm layer with you.

What time should I arrive?

Please aim to be seated at the church 30 minutes before the ceremony and allow plenty of time for parking. See the full running order on The Day.

How do I get between the church and the reception?

It's about a 15-minute drive from Winterton-on-Sea to The Boathouse in Ormesby St Michael. If you need a taxi, there's a list of local taxi numbers on Travel & Stay.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation will name exactly who's invited. If you're unsure, just ask us.

Is there parking?

Yes. In Winterton, roadside parking directly outside the church is limited, but there's a free car park at the playing field by the cricket club, a short walk away, and a paid car park near the beach about a 10-minute walk away. The Boathouse has plenty of free parking on site. Full details are on Travel & Stay.

Can I take photos?

During the ceremony we'd love you to be fully present. Please keep phones and cameras tucked away so our photographer gets a clear shot. After that, feel free to take as many photos or videos as you like.

Confetti?

Yes please, but it must be biodegradable, and only used outside, not inside the church. Don't worry about bringing any, it will be provided.
